Deadline for adapting buildings for people with disabilities
expires at the end of 2025Ensuring the accessibility of tourism infrastructure is one of the key foundations for the development of inclusive tourism destinations and, according to legal provisions, an obligation for all tourism providers.
As we have noticed that most tourism stakeholders are not aware of what the law requires of them, we have prepared a training course for VISITs and their business partners. The training provides a comprehensive insight into the correct application of the legislation in the tourism sector and relates to the provision of services and facilities for people with disabilities. Our programme is designed to enable both management and staff to understand the legislation. The extended training also provides employees with practical tools to deal effectively with guests with disabilities and the use of assistive devices.
