WHY PRODUCTS FOR EVACUATION?

In the event of an emergency, such as a fire, earthquake, gas leak or flood, everyone in the building must evacuate as quickly and safely as possible. If there is no lift or one cannot be used, the only way out of the building is to use the stairs. If there are persons in the building who need additional assistance to evacuate, it is very important that good quality and regularly maintained evacuation equipment is available.

WHO IS AT RISK?

When thinking about safe and accessible evacuation, it is important to consider the larger group of participants who will need additional assistance. This includes not only wheelchair users, but also people with other visual limitations such as spinal, knee or leg injuries, elderly people who are unable to retreat quickly to safety, pregnant women. People with hidden limitations such as heart or lung problems, disoriented people and people in shock also need help to evacuate quickly in the event of an accident.

The fire brigade or ambulance service is not responsible for evacuating people from your building!

Emergencies and all sudden events that require a rapid evacuation require you to have people in your building ready to react to the situation correctly and in a timely manner.
