How much does a stair lift cost?
Since every staircase is different, the price of a stair lift can only be accurately determined when we know the design of the staircase. Therefore, it’s important to send us a video or photos. Generally, the following factors should be considered:

• Is the installation indoor or outdoor?
• Is the staircase straight or curved? How many turns are needed?
• What is the length of the staircase?
• How many floors need to be accessed?
• Can the railing be attached directly to the wall or to freestanding posts?

In general, we can say that the prices for a stair lift, including delivery and installation, start at approximately €9,000 for a simple straight staircase.

Can your stair lift transport electric wheelchairs?
Yes! Lehner Lifttechnik lifts typically have a load capacity of up to 300 kg and a maximum platform size of 900 x 1250 mm. Therefore, our lifts can certainly transport all types of electric wheelchairs.

What is the delivery time for a stair lift?
Since it is a custom product, the production time depends on the complexity of the lift. Generally, we can manufacture straight lifts in about 2 weeks, while the production of curved lifts may take approximately 5 weeks.

How long does it take to install the Stratos stair lift?

• Straight stair lift: 1 day
• Curved stair lift: 1-2 days (depending on the number of floors)

Can the railing be made in different colors?
In our powder coating facility, we can paint the railing in any color. Alternatively, the railing can also be finished with natural aluminum or a glossy surface made of high-quality stainless steel!

Can people without a wheelchair also use the lift?
Anyone can use our stair lifts. A folding chair is available for people without a wheelchair. Therefore, a platform lift is a better choice than a conventional stair lift. The lift can also be used to transport groceries or luggage along with the passenger!

As people are living longer, more individuals in the later stages of life depend on wheelchairs. When the time comes for this, it’s advisable to choose a platform lift, so you won’t need to make two significant investments.

How does the Omega stair lift work?
The Omega is powered by a three-phase motor located at the end of the railing. This ensures a constant power supply. In the event of a power failure, emergency power can be provided.

What is the lifespan of a platform stair lift?
Depending on usage intervals and maintenance, the average lifespan of a lift is approximately 25 years.

How do we control the lift?
The platform is equipped with buttons for moving up and down, as well as an emergency stop button and alarm. A wireless control station (either wall-mounted or handheld) is available at each station for calling and starting the lift from the station.

Are Omega platform stair lifts suitable for outdoor installation?
All our lifts can be easily installed outdoors. For outdoor stair lifts, we galvanize metal parts, provide components made of stainless steel or aluminum, and add a special coating that protects the platform from harsh weather conditions when not in use for extended periods.

What happens in case of a power failure?
The Omega platform can be equipped with an emergency power supply, allowing the lift to still make several trips in case of a power outage!
