Hearing accessibility and systems for the hard of hearing

For people with hearing impairments, accessibility means the ability to perceive and understand information. This is provided through the use of hearing systems such as induction (hearing) loops.
Hearing systems enable the transmission of sound directly to hearing aids and are used in rooms where communication with users takes place. Their operation and use are defined by the SIST EN 60118-4 standard and are related to accessibility legislation.
